Juicer.Kitchen Verdict

The Sana Supreme ranks No. 1 in our horizontal juicer rankings, and it’s easy to see why. It’s the only horizontal juicer we’ve tested with a DC brushless motor that can run continuously without a 30-minute shutoff limit. Cleaning is quick and simple, taking about 90 seconds thanks to fewer parts and fewer crevices where pulp can get trapped.
With variable speeds from 40 to 120 RPM, it adapts to ultra-gentle, low-oxidation juicing or faster sessions when needed. It’s exceptionally quiet and delivers the highest yield we’ve seen from a horizontal single-auger juicer, especially with celery, leafy greens, and vegetables.
If you mostly juice fruits, a vertical juicer may be more convenient. But for greens, maximum yield, and long-term durability, the Sana Supreme remains our top horizontal recommendation — backed by a full 15-year warranty.
Pros

Sana 727 Detailed Review
Intro
The Sana 727 Supreme is now available in the U.S. For years, this juicer was only sold in Europe, but Sana has now begun importing and distributing it stateside.
It’s not just another horizontal auger juicer. The Sana 727 incorporates several design upgrades that aren’t common in this category. It’s not designed for someone looking for a basic machine that overheats or shuts off after 15–30 minutes of use. This is a premium juicer built for regular, long-term use.
Unlike most horizontal juicers we’ve tested, the Sana 727 features variable speed control and a DC brushless motor that can run continuously without a time limit. The motor itself is significantly more robust than what’s typically found in standard home juicers.
And it’s not just about the motor. Sana spent years refining this machine, focusing on practical improvements and manufacturing it in South Korea at one of the world’s leading juicer production facilities.
About Sana
Sana is a highly respected juicer brand, particularly popular across Europe. They’re known for producing premium-quality machines, often collaborating with leading Korean manufacturers—home to some of the best slow juicers in the world.
While Sana only recently expanded into the U.S. market, they’re backed by a team with decades of experience in the juicing industry. With a strong focus on quality, they’re aiming to make a lasting impression here as well.
Innovative Design
Brush-less Industrial motor
The Sana 727 is powered by a DC brushless motor—something you rarely see in home juicers. For the tech-savvy, that means no brushes to wear out, keeps steady torque under load, runs cooler, and uses less electricity.
Although it’s rated at just 150 watts, it mostly runs at only 30 watts during regular use. That makes it an ideal choice for those living off the grid or anyone looking to reduce power consumption.
Most juicers have a runtime limit—30 minutes is standard before risking overheating. Not the Sana 727. Thanks to its DC brushless design and built-in cooling fan, you can juice as long as you want—no time restrictions, no worries. Before the Sana 727, you’d have to spend more than double on a commercial-grade juicer to get this kind of performance.
Keep in mind, this is still a home juicer—just a perfect solution for anyone juicing in bulk or for a large family.
Variable Speed Control
Most slow juicers run at a fixed speed—typically around 80 RPM. The Sana 727 gives you full control with variable speeds ranging from 40 to 120 RPM.
At 40 RPM, it’s one of the slowest home juicers currently available. This ultra-slow setting delivers a gentle cold press that minimizes oxidation and foam. The slower you go, the less air gets introduced into your juice.
If you’re juicing produce that performs better with a bit more speed, you can dial it up to 65 RPM—still slower than most horizontal single-auger juicers. Need to juice faster? You have the option to go up to 90 or even 120 RPM.

Even at top speed, the Sana 727 sticks to true slow juicing principles—gently crushing and squeezing instead of shredding. This keeps your juice flavorful and rich. In contrast, centrifugal juicers often run at around 12,000 RPM, introducing more air into the juice and increasing oxidation.
Compact Vertical Footprint

The motor is vertically oriented, giving the Sana 727 a smaller footprint compared to other horizontal juicers — ideal if you have limited counter space or live in an apartment. Even the pusher is thoughtfully designed: it can be stored on the side instead of being left loose on the counter.
Small touches like this reflect careful attention to everyday usability and practical design.
Feed Chute

The Sana 727 uses a dual-hopper design: a standard feed chute and a wider opening for adding smaller produce like berries. The wider opening lets you drop in a full handful at once, making the process quicker and easier. This is one of the most practical hopper designs we’ve used among horizontal juicers.
That said, horizontal juicers typically have narrower feed chutes than vertical models, which offer wider openings and better auto-feeding. For this reason, we typically prefer vertical designs. However, when juicing leafy greens, horizontals have a clear advantage. You can feed long strands of kale or celery without cutting them into small pieces — something vertical juicers usually require to prevent clogging. For green-heavy recipes, a horizontal machine like the Sana 727 simply makes more sense.
Quiet
The Sana 727 is remarkably quiet—measuring just 47 decibels on the lowest speed. You can barely hear it running, making it perfect for early mornings or households with sleeping children. Even at the highest speed (120 RPM), it stays relatively quiet at around 65 decibels. In our experience, it’s one of the quietest juicers available today.
Juice yield

The Sana 727 delivers the highest yield of any horizontal single-auger juicer we’ve tested. The pulp comes out impressively dry, meaning you’re getting more out of your produce.
In our celery test, we juiced 2 lbs at the lowest speed and obtained 23 oz — the highest among the single-auger machines we tested, including vertical models.
When testing different speeds, we also saw about a 10% increase in yield at 40 RPM compared to 120 RPM. If maximum extraction matters to you, running the 727 at its slowest setting gives the best results.
The Sana 727 is particularly strong with leafy greens, herbs, and hard root vegetables, consistently producing excellent yields for this class of machine.
Juice Quality and Taste?
The Sana 727 performs very well when it comes to juice quality, particularly with celery, which retains a bright, vibrant color. Thanks to its ultra-low RPM options, less air is introduced into the juice, resulting in excellent flavor and reduced oxidation compared to higher-speed machines. The result is a cleaner, more refined juice, comparable to what we’ve seen from many of today’s higher-end juicers.
When testing different speeds, we noticed a clear difference:
- Low speed (40 RPM): Very little pulp in the juice — often no sieve needed. The juice tasted lighter and fresher, with minimal foam.
- High speed (120 RPM): Juicing was faster, but more foam developed and the flavor was slightly harsher. We also found noticeably more pulp in the sieve.
Simply put, for the best flavor and overall juice quality, we recommend using the lowest speed whenever possible.
What it can Juice?

The Sana 727 is particularly well suited for leafy greens, herbs, and hard root vegetables. If most of your recipes are green- or vegetable-heavy, it’s a strong fit.
- Celery: Produces bright, clean-tasting juice with excellent extraction.
- Carrots, Ginger, and Roots: Handles dense produce without any issue.
- Leafy Greens: Performs especially well with kale, spinach, wheatgrass, and herbs, extracting more thoroughly than most single-auger machines.
While the 727 can juice fruits, it’s not the best choice for fruit-heavy recipes. Horizontal juicers are generally better suited for vegetables and greens. If 75% or more of your juicing is soft fruits, a vertical auger juicer will usually be more convenient.
Build Quality
The Sana 727 is designed in Europe and manufactured in South Korea at one of the world’s best production facilities for juicers. Fit and finish are excellent, and the overall construction reflects its premium positioning.
Accessories you get with the juicer?

The Sana 727 Supreme comes with a premium set of included accessories:
Stainless Steel Pulp Catcher: Unlike most juicers that include a plastic container, the 727 comes with a food-grade stainless steel pulp catcher. It’s larger than those on most horizontal juicers and useful if you like to reuse pulp for muffins, crackers, or soups
500ml Crystal Glass Juice Cup: Sana includes a Bohemia crystal glass instead of a plastic cup. It’s sturdy, well-made, and fits neatly under the spout.
Juice Sieve: A fine mesh sieve fits perfectly over the glass cup, letting you filter out any remaining pulp if you prefer an ultra-smooth juice.
Three Juicing Screens:
- Fine Juicing Screen: For maximum yield and drier pulp.
- Coarse Juicing Screen: For softer fruits
- Homogenizing Screen (Blank): For non-juice tasks such as sorbets, nut butters and more.

What else it can make?
Beyond juicing, the Sana 727 can handle several additional food tasks.
Frozen Fruit Sorbets:
Using the included homogenizing (blank) screen, you can process frozen bananas, berries, or mangoes into smooth, dairy-free desserts.
Nut Butters and Milks:
It can make peanut butter, almond butter, or fresh nut milks with the blank screen attachment.
Grinding and Mincing:
The blank screen also allows you to grind coffee beans, mince herbs, and process boneless meats for spreads and fillings.
Cold-Pressed Oils (Optional Attachment):
With Sana’s optional oil extractor, you can cold-press seeds and nuts at low temperatures (under 18°C). If purchased together with the juicer, the attachment is often discounted.
Warranty?
The Sana 727 includes a 15-year warranty on the entire machine, ensuring that your investment is protected for years to come.
Assembly and Cleaning?
The Sana 727 is easy to assemble. Insert the main drum, slide in the auger, add the screen, and secure the drum cap — done.
When it comes to cleaning, it offers a unique auto-cleaning feature. After juicing, pour water into the machine and close the cap. Let the juicer run briefly, and the water will clean out any remaining pulp. Then, open the tap, and the dirty water will flow out, effectively cleaning the juicer. This trick, combined with only four parts to clean, makes the process fast and effortless, taking only about 90 seconds. It’s one of the easiest juicers we’ve tested to maintain.
Comparison of Sana 727 with other recommended Juicers
Sana 727 vs Angel Juicer
The Angel gives slightly higher yield and juice quality, but the Sana 727 is easier to use, clean, and is about one-third the price. If you want the absolute best and don’t mind extra work, go for the Angel. For daily use, the 727 is more practical.
Sana 727 vs Hurom H400 Easy Clean
Both juicers are at the peak of Single Auger Juicing Technology, made in the same Korean factory, and are among the easiest juicers to clean.
The Sana 727, as a horizontal juicer, specializes in leafy greens, wheatgrass, and vegetables. It can juice fruits too, but for a high fruit content, a vertical juicer like the Hurom H400 is a better fit. The Hurom H400, being vertical, is more versatile — it juices fruits, vegetables, and greens equally well.
When it comes to juice quality, the Sana 727 has an edge. At 40 RPM, it produces bit higher quality juice with less foam and air, and also runs quieter. It can also juice faster at higher speeds when needed.
The Hurom H400 shines in ease of use: you simply load the produce into the hopper, close the lid, and walk away — no need to manually feed. If you’re mostly juicing greens, the Sana 727 is the better choice. If you prefer a hands-off experience for a mix of fruits, veggies, and greens, the Hurom H400 is a great option.
Sana 727 vs Omega NC800/NC900
The Sana 727 differentiates itself from the Omega NC800/NC900 with its no runtime limit, and variable speed control. The lower available speeds can result in juice with less air incorporation and, in our testing, slightly higher yield on greens and firmer produce.
If budget is a priority, the Omega NC800/NC900 remains a solid choice and also includes a 15-year warranty. But if you’re willing to spend more for continuous run capability and adjustable speeds, the Sana 727 represents a noticeable step up in versatility and performance.
Sana 727 vs Omega mm900 HDS
Both are horizontal single augers, but the similarities end there. The MM900 is made in China; the 727 is made in South Korea. The 727 has no runtime limit, while the MM900 is limited to 30 minutes. The 727 auto-reverses if overloaded; MM900 requires manual reverse. Sana 727 runs at lower RPM, resulting in less heat and oxidation. We do not recommend the Omega MM900 HDS.
Final words?
The Sana 727 Supreme is one of the most refined horizontal single-auger juicers we’ve tested, and it consistently delivers some of the best results we’ve seen from a single-auger design.
Its continuous run-time capability makes it ideal for large families or anyone who batch juices regularly. Quiet operation and easy cleaning also make it well suited for daily use.
It isn’t inexpensive. But for households focused on leafy greens, celery, and hard vegetables, the performance, build quality, and 15-year warranty justify the investment. Within the horizontal single-auger category, it remains our top recommendation.
