Best Citrus Juicer 2026 – Tested & Reviewed

Unlike multi-purpose juicers that handle everything from leafy greens to fruits, dedicated citrus juicers are built specifically for citrus fruits like oranges, grapefruits, lemons, limes, and more.

While we personally prefer juicers that let us mix fruits with vegetables and leafy greens for better overall nutrition, dedicated citrus juicers still make sense if citrus is all you drink. They’re simpler, easier to assemble and disassemble, and much easier to clean than full-size juicers. There’s no peeling involved—just slice the fruit in half, press, and you’re done.

We’ve tested a wide range of manual and electric citrus juicers over the years. For this guide, we ran our top picks through lemons, limes, oranges, and large grapefruits to see which ones delivered the best yield, ease of use, and long-term reliability. Below are the citrus juicers we confidently recommend.

Breville citrus presss pro has been our favorite from long time and still beat others by wide margin.

Its power-assisted lever does most of the work for you, making it easy to juice larger quantities without tiring your hands or wrists. In our tests, it delivered the highest overall yield across all citrus sizes—from small limes to large grapefruits—using a single reamer that adapts well to everything.

The die-cast metal build feels solid and looks great on the counter, and cleanup is quick with just a few dishwasher-safe parts. One thing to note is its arm doesn’t lock down, which makes the unit about 18 inches tall.

For a more budget-friendly option, the non-Pro Breville Citrus Press offers similar performance in a lighter plastic body. But for premium construction and minimal effort, the Citrus Press Pro remains our top pick.

Other Recommended Electric Citrus Juicers

IIf you don’t want the Breville and want something sturdier, light-duty commercial citrus juicers can work very well at home. They’re especially useful for higher-volume juicing, like if you have an orange tree or regularly juice for a crowd.

It uses a reamer-style design, where you press the fruit half onto a rotating cone. It works well with oranges, lemons, limes, and grapefruit, but does require some grip strength compared to lever-assisted or fully automated models.

Old-school, but still one of our favorite types of citrus juicers. Many bartenders swear by this style, and we’ve had a similar press sitting in our kitchen for over a decade. We still reach for it often—especially for pomegranates. It’s honestly one of the easiest ways to juice them: just cut the fruit in half and press, no need to remove the seeds.

It’s built from cast iron and stainless steel. There’s no electricity involved and no moving parts to fail. Plastic never touches the juice, cleanup is quick (just two main parts), and it runs completely silent.

The trade-off is effort. You do need downward pressure, so it’s not ideal if hand strength is a concern. But in terms of durability, simplicity, and longevity, this style of citrus press can easily last for decades.

Best Hands Free Juicer

We looked hard but couldn’t find truly hands-free dedicated citrus juicer from our go-to brands.

We did test a mostly automated model from a smaller California-based company. The design is clever: the inner reamer automatically rises,  presses the fruit against lid, spins, and lowers back down. You place the fruit, close the lid, press the “Auto Juice” button, and the machine does the work for you.

It worked well for oranges and grapefruits. With lemons, we noticed a few halves still had juice left behind. The base felt solid, but the plastic upper assembly felt fragile.

If hands-free operation matters most, Vinci Hands Free Citrus Juicer is worth considering. That said, we still prefer the Breville Citrus Press for build quality and overall confidence.
